DARPSP for iOS

The field companion to the Protected Species Program workspace — Hawaiʻi DLNR, Division of Aquatic Resources.

Built for staff in the field

DARPSP for iOS puts the program's day-to-day work — the inbox, tasks, partner communications, hotline call intake, and field operations records — in the pockets of the staff and partners who do it. It is an internal tool: signing in requires an approved Protected Species Program account, and there is no public registration.

Inbox & Pulse

Mentions, assignments, and activity on the work you follow, with a daily pulse of what needs attention.

Tasks & Actions

Create, assign, and close out coordination tasks and multi-step actions from the field.

Communications log

Log calls, emails, and meetings with partners the moment they happen — including from the iOS share sheet.

Hotline call logging

Structured intake for marine wildlife hotline calls, with drafts that survive interruptions mid-call.

Field operations forms

Outreach, debris removal, monitoring, and other field records with photo attachments.

Offline-first

Everything you save goes into a durable on-device outbox and syncs automatically when connectivity returns. No signal on the beach is a normal day, not an error.

Access

The app is distributed to Protected Species Program staff and approved partners. If you work with the program and need access, contact your program coordinator. For questions about the app, see the support page. How the app handles data is described in the privacy policy.
